For more than 40 years, the URS Telethon on WDTN has been a Dayton tradition—bringing our community together to support children and adults with disabilities. This year, that legacy continues in a new way as the URS Day of Giving on WDTN, chaired by longtime supporter and URS Board Member Gary Auman, kicking off our Season of Impact—a season-long celebration of generosity, inclusion, and community.
Your donation makes stories like Navie’s possible. Born with Down syndrome and nonverbal, three-year-old Navie began receiving therapy at URS in 2024 and can now walk more than 350 feet on her own. Her joyful determination represents the heart of our mission—empowering individuals of all abilities to reach their full potential.
Every gift you make provides therapy, education, job training, and care for local children and adults with developmental and acquired disabilities.
Together, we’re creating a stronger, more inclusive community—one life-changing story at a time.Check out our Story tab to meet our 2025 Ambassador, Navie, and see how your support is changing lives through the URS Day of Giving on WDTN. 💙
